Thank you to everybody that came to buy books at the Book Fair on Monday. It is always great to see the children buying books and being so keen to read them. Thanks to this enthusiasm towards reading we made almost 200€ commission and will be using this to buy books for the library, which all of the children can benefit from.
I would like to remind you that you should not park in the bus spaces at the back of school; these are only for bus use. Unfortunately during the week some cars have been towed from these spaces. You should not park there if you want to avoid the inconvenience and expense of having to go and reclaim your car. Thank you for your co-operation.
The final deadline for buying tickets for the Halloween/Firework party is on Tuesday 8th October. You must have purchased your tickets by then, as after that they will no longer be available. This will then mean that the PTA will be able to cater for the correct numbers. They are very busy with the preparations and you help to ensure the success of the party by supporting them in as many ways as possible. Thank you.
We have a new battery collection container in Dominique’s room. Please bring in any ‘dead’ batteries and put them in to this container. We will benefit by doing this, as we will be given a reduction when we order items from Baert, which is a supplier of educational resources.
Please remember to return your Parent/Teacher Consultation reply forms next week, or to talk to your child’s class teacher if you need to arrange an alternative appointment.
We will tell you what has been happening in all the classes again next week, but Class 4 have been on a trip to the Museum of Chocolate this week and Class 3 are off to the Circus on Thursday.
Have a lovely weekend and enjoy the good weather while it lasts.
