Dear Parents,

There is one more piece of exciting news that we still have to share with you.

During the holidays phase one of the playground renovation began. We wanted to create a safer place for the children to play and so decided to have the playground on one level. We will no longer have woodchips on the ground, and under the playground equipment there will be a rubber surface. Thanks to the PTA part of the playground will also be covered. This will allow for the children to have fresh air even when it’s raining.

Everything was going to plan and we were looking forward to surprising you on the first day of school. However, as you are probably aware recently the weather has not been on our side and we are going to need to be patient for a little longer.

You are sure to notice the changes that have already been completed, but there is no need to worry, as the part that is still being worked on will be fenced off to ensure that the children are safe.

If the sun continues to shine (as it has today) the work should be finished in approximately two weeks. In our Friday Leadership letter we will be able to give you further information regarding the progress of the work.

Now that the Pre-School work has come to an end you will be able to enter the playground through the small black gate once again. As you usually need your security tag for this we will leave it open on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, but from Thursday you will need your tag to enter. Please ensure that you go to Dominique for a tag on Tuesday or Wednesday, in readiness for Thursday.

We are looking forward to seeing you again either tomorrow or Wednesday.

Best Wishes

The Leadership Team.
