Thank you to everybody that attended the Parent/Teacher Consultations on Tuesday. These meetings are always important and help us to ensure that we are working together to achieve the best for the children. We hope you are aware that you can arrange a meeting with your child’s teacher whenever you feel it is needed and do not have to wait for an evening such as these to happen to meet them.

If you didn’t have the opportunity to look at the displays celebrating the learning that is happening in school on Tuesday evening, you are welcome to come into school and see them at another time. We are sure that your child(ren) will be keen to share their work with you, as well as that of their friends in other classes.

Next week is going to be another busy one. On Tuesday (14th October) we will be celebrating Maths Day at BEPS. The children will be engaged in a day full of Numeracy activities, which will be linked to a story with a Mathematical theme. Although Specialist lessons will still take place, the rest of the day we will be celebrating Numeracy in many different forms. It should be another fun day at BEPS.

As you should already know, on Thursday evening (16th October) the PTA are organising an event at Etiquette Wines, Avenue Emile de Mot 19, Brussels 1000. This is to give new parents the opportunity of getting to know other parents and teachers alike. They will be very happy to see as many people as possible join the fun. The evening starts at 20.00.

You certainly won’t have been able to miss the fact that one of the highlights of the BEPS year; the Halloween/Firework Party, is taking place next Saturday (18th October). It will run from 17.30 – 20.30 and is certainly an event not to be missed. The PTA are very busy with preparations for this and we are sure that you will support by attending the event and by volunteering to help at the activity run by your child’s class. Thank you.

We would like to remind you that children in Classes 1, 2, 3 6 and 7 should be wearing their PE kit on Fridays when they go to the gym. Along with their sweatshirt and T-shirt they should wear tracksuit bottoms or leggings. They also need to take a pair of gym shoes to change into when they arrive. Taking part in the lesson without the correct clothing is not a safe option. Thank you for your support in this.
