We would like thank you all for supporting the Halloween/Firework party on Saturday. Everybody appeared to be having a great evening and there was plenty of laughter alongside the screams! We are sure that you will join with us in thanking the PTA for all of the hard work that they put into organising, running and clearing up after the event. Without them it would not have been possible.

We received a message from one of the families, which joined BEPS in September and they would like us to share this with you.

Dear Parents, dear Teachers,

We would like to congratulate everyone on a wonderful Halloween party!! We are new to BEPS, and were very impressed with the party, at the level of numbers of people, their dedication, and, the overall atmosphere. Clearly BEPS has a dedicated teacher-parents community, with a great sense for celebration.

We were most particularly impressed with the enormous amount of work that is performed to make this event happen. We have witnessed many, many people doing an amazing job, before, during and after the party (!).

Therefore, a very big thank you to all of you organizers and helpers and children, in particular the PTA core committee, the many dedicated teachers (including a head-master flipping hamburgers the whole evening!), and the many other parents and children that have helped.

The commitment and dedication to Halloween 2014 surely reflects the commitment and dedication to a wonderful teaching program, and a wonderful teaching environment.

Warm regards and Happy Halloween!

Han, Elena and Maya

For those of you that will be celebrating Halloween on the real date (Friday 31st October) enjoy yourselves again.

Class 3 were enjoying themselves today when they went to the circus. They all loved the experience and will be happy to tell you all about it. Of course the show they saw will be nothing compared to the one they will present after the holidays. But they must have picked up some good tips.

We would like to remind you that the clocks go back this Saturday/Sunday (26th October). When it is 03.00 it will fall back to 02.00 and so you can have an extra hour in bed.

Dates for your diary:

Tuesday 4th November School photographer
Tuesday 4th November (19.00 – 20.00) Informal evening on Language acquisition and bilingualism development

10th and 11th November – No School

All that remains is for us to wish you a very happy holiday. We will be looking forward to seeing you all again on Monday 3rd November.

Best wishes,

The Leadership Team.
