Another week has ended, and this time with an eclipse!

The cloudy skies meant that the eclipse wasn’t quite as spectacular as we had been hoping this morning, but it still caused lots of excitement. Thank you to those of you that sent us photographs of the event we were very happy to be able to share them.

At lunchtime children from the Upper School were involved in the ‘try outs’ to be involved in an exciting international school football tournament next Friday. Only fourteen children of the children involved will be able to go to represent BEPS at this event and they will be informed if they will be going on Monday. Those that aren’t selected needn’t worry though as they will have some matches of their own at BEPS on that day. It was great to see so many children participating in the trials, thank you to all of them.

After selling us all very tasty snacks from their snack shop the Class 5 enjoyed a morning of activities related to their new Unit of Work from Cap Science on Monday. Now they are going to be learning all about health and fitness and so we are lucky they had their snack shop first!

The Class 3 children really enjoyed their trip to the Music Museum today and apparently asked lots of interesting questions and learnt lots of new things. We are sure they will be telling you all about it.

You should have received your appointment times for Tuesday’s Parent/Teacher Consultations earlier this week. If you haven’t confirmed your attendance for these please will you do so on Monday. The teachers are looking forward to having the opportunity to talk with you about your child’s progress. If there is any reason why you will not be able to make it on the day, please contact the class teacher. Thank you.

We are still missing some Re-enrolment reply forms. As we will start looking at class numbers on Monday we need to have them by then. If you have lost your form please send an e-mail to Dominique to inform us of your intentions. Holiday Club registration forms should also be returned on Monday please.
