The holidays are here again.

Another term has come to an end, which must mean that there is only one term left, and still so many things to fit into it.

This week has seen the Exit Points for some Units of Work. Class 4 held their Fashion Show on Wednesday morning, which featured their favourite clothes and the T-shirts they designed and printed in school. The main stairs acted as their catwalk and they walked down to the music they created using Garage Band. It all went very well and to top it all they raised 100€ for the Blue Turtle Centre. Thank you to everyone that supported the event.

Class 6 were also sharing their learning with their parents yesterday when they invited them to come into school to see the fairground rides they designed and made. As well as demonstrating them they were able to talk about the forces that were involved and the other science behind them. There were some rather scary rides and some that may need a little more thought about health and safety regulations! Well done Class 6 everyone was very impressed with the evidence of your learning.

Yesterday also saw the highly anticipated Egg Hunt, which was kindly organised by the PTA. All of the children enjoyed this and we must thank everybody that was involved in making it such a fun activity. The children certainly made sure that there wasn’t any chance of any being overlooked.

This morning we held our End of Term Assembly and were very happy that Class 1 joined us for the first time this year. They showed us how grown up they are getting by sitting and listening very well.

During Assembly our first Golden Rule certificates were awarded. These were given to children who were thought to have demonstrated how to be a good friend particularly well. In the future certificates will be awarded for demonstrating the other Golden Rules too. Congratulations to those children that received the first of these certificates.
