The end of the school year is nearly here

It has been very quiet without the Upper School this week, but the children and their teachers have now happily returned from their Residential Trips.  They had a fabulous week in beautiful surroundings and enjoyed participating in many stimulating activities. They will no doubt have lots of stories to share with you. Thank you to the teachers that accompanied them, for the care and dedication they have put into the last week, and for making it a great experience for everyone. They deserve a restful weekend for sure.

This morning Early Years held their Sports Day Event. Both the children and parents had fun demonstrating their sports skills.

Pam Mundy our Early Years consultant joined us again this week. She spent time in the classrooms (Preschool and Class 1) and met with the teachers to prepare for next year.

It is hard to believe that next week will be the last full week of the school year. On Friday 26th June it will be Sports Day for Classes 2-7.  There will be activities throughout the day and you are welcome to join us.  More information will be sent to you next week. Please note that there will be no hot lunches on that day so all the children (Pre-school to Class 7) will need to bring a packed lunch.
You should have received information and enrollment forms for Garderie for the academic year 2015/2016. Please complete these forms and return them by Tuesday 23rd June. This will ensure that your child(ren) will be enrolled for the service from the beginning of the next academic year. Thank you.

Also just a reminder that our Summer Holiday Stages (Classes 2-7) and our Early Years Holiday Club (Pre-school and Class 1) are proposed for the first two weeks of July (1st – 3rd & 6th – 10th) and the last week of August (24th – 28th). There are still spaces left, so if you haven’t signed up but would like your child to join, then please fill in the form by Monday 22nd June. After that we will be able to confirm whether the clubs will take place or not depending on the number of children enrolled.

As always, some of you will be saying goodbye to BEPS at the end of this school year. Please remember to return your door tag to Dominique and your deposit will be returned.  Thank you.

Finally the last date of the year for your diary: Tuesday 30th June – Last day of term. School ends at 12.30.

Enjoy a restful weekend.

Best wishes,

The Leadership Team
