The last full week of the year has now ended and it did so with the excitement of Sports Day for the children in Classes 2 – 7.

After a fantastic warm up session with Ria, one of our P.E teachers, and lots of volleyball, football, baseball and obstacle racing in the morning, the afternoon ended with tugs of war and dodge ball. Each team member supported their team really well and there were many examples of co-operation and positive team spirit.  The result was very close but the eventual holders of the BEPS Sports Day Cup for 2105 were Herge. Congratulations Herge, but also to everybody that participated and made is a great fun day.

We are sure that you would like to join us in thanking the Sports Day Team for making this such a great day, and for all the work that they put into organising the event, and to the rest of the staff for supporting them. Thank you to those of you who were able to come and join us too.

On Wednesday the staff were treated to a fantastic Staff Appreciation Lunch, which was provided by the PTA. This was greatly appreciated and we would like to thank the PTA on their behalf for treating us all so well. Thank you.

Next week will be a very short one as there is only school on Monday and Tuesday.

On Monday the children will have the opportunity to meet the teacher they will be learning with in September, and you will be receiving your child’s report.

On Tuesday we will have our Final/Leavers Assembly and we would like to invite you to join us for this. It will begin at 11.30. Following this there will be our traditional end of year treat before the holidays begin. School will finish at 12.30.

Enjoy the weekend.

Best Wishes,

The Leadership Team.
