The end of the first full week of the year has arrived and we are sure that there will be some tired children this evening. There are certainly some tired teachers, but we’re sure we’ll all be wide-awake again by Monday!

Thank you, to all of the parents that came to the Meet the Teacher Meetings on Tuesday. It was great to see so many of you attending. We hope that you found them informative and enjoyable. The PowerPoint presentations for each class can now be found on their page of the beps-online.com website. If you have any additional questions please talk with your child’s teacher, we are sure they will be happy to help.

The children were all very happy to have their first P.E lesson with our new P.E teacher Simon Delglain this week. The Pre-School children were especially cute joining in the activities he led with great enthusiasm. We can see that we are going to have some very active, fit and healthy children in BEPS this year.

There was more excitement this afternoon when the children from Classes 1 – 7 met their new buddies. This year Class 1 will be buddies with Class 7/8, Class 2 with Classes 4 and 5 and Class 3 with Class 6. Everybody enjoyed getting to meet their new friends and they already looking forward to the next Buddy Time.

As you already know, tomorrow we will be having the BEPS Welcome Picnic. Everybody is invited to join between 11.00 and 14.00. Just bring your picnic and a blanket and have some fun.

The Parent/Teacher Association (PTA) is already starting to plan for the year ahead and you will receive a letter of introduction from them soon. At the moment they have organised two events:

Tuesday 29th September – 19.00: PTA General Meeting  (everybody is welcome to attend)

Wednesday 7th October – 09.00: First PTA Coffee Morning of the Year – join for coffee after drop off.

We hope that you all have a great weekend but would particularly like to wish Rosh Hashanah to our Jewish families.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow at the Welcome Picnic.

Best Wishes
