We are sure that you have prepared the most amazing Halloween costumes and that you are getting ready to be spooky on Saturday.
Please read this message carefully so that you will be ready.
The new PTA team has been working hard to prepare for the Halloween Party. In case you have not met them yet, you can find out who they are and what they do below:
Chairperson: Sophie De Bock
Treasurer: José Amsing
Secretary: Caroline Suzor
Class Rep Coordinator: Sandra Rogmans
Equipment Coordinator: Han Asard
Fundraising Coordinator: Antoine Le Blan
Halloween Tickets: Jane Torrisi
Staff Representatives: The Leadership Team: Pascale Hertay, Rayna Birch and Mandy Porrett.
All PTA members will be wearing a badge during the Halloween Party so please do not hesitate to talk to them or to ask for any information you may require during the party.
Please note that when you arrive on Saturday the back gate to the school (from Avenue Victoria into the playground) will be closed. This is because the fireworks will be set up in the playground. Please use the main entrance at the front of the school (on Avenue Franklin Roosevelt). This will be the ONLY way to enter the party.
Here you will be welcomed by our Halloween team & must be identified on our Guest Register before being allowed to join the fun.
What will be happening and when will it take place?
5pm: Arrival and Welcome (main BEPS entrance)
5pm to 7:30pm: Halloween Games (BEPS garden)
5.30 pm to 6:00pm: Magician Show (side of the school, next to the BEPS parking)
6:00pm to 7:30pm: Monster Disco and Frankenstein Lab (Music Room and basement Hall)
6:15pm to 6:45pm: Halloween Catwalk (side of the school, next to the BEPS parking)
7:30pm: Fireworks (BEPS playground)
8pm: End of Halloween Party
This year we will see many new and exciting events at the party. One of these is the Halloween Catwalk Competition. This will be your child(ren)’s chance to show their fabulous costumes to everyone, and maybe to win a prize. To enter this they will need to go and register at the Halloween Catwalk stall between 5pm. and 6pm. At 6.15pm. they will need to report to the ‘red carpet’ and be ready for the photo shoot and the chance to scare our spooky judges into voting for them.
The judges will be looking for winners in four categories: the scariest, the cutest, the most original and the best "home made" costume.
The children need to be ready to tell us which category they think they should be entered in when they register. This should be a great event and so be sure you are near the catwalk at 6.15pm. when it starts.Good luck to everyone who enters.
We are counting on you to supply our Halloween Cake Stall with the spookiest cakes and cookies you can think of (whether home-made or purchased). Please bring them to school on Friday or Saturday (just before the party) and take them to Ms. Hertay’s office. Many thanks in advance for your contributions
We are looking forward to seeing you all on Saturday.
