Half Term has arrived

It is hard to believe that only this time last week we were all excited about the Halloween Party, and now we are excited about the holidays.

We are sure that you will want to join us in thanking the members of the PTA and all the volunteers for making the party such a fabulous one. Everybody looked spectacular in their costumes, the children enjoyed themselves and the fireworks were amazing. Of course it wouldn’t have been much of a party without all of you, so thank you for attending too.

We started the week with a fire drill and were very happy to see how quickly, quietly and sensibly the children were able to clear the building. Next time the fire drill will be completely unannounced and so we hope that it will be as successful.

Today Classes 6 and 7/8 took part in the Je Cous pour ma forme 2015. This was a 1500 metre race that was organised by the Federation Sportive de l’Enseignement Officiel Subventionne. It took place in the Stade des Trois Tilleuls in Watermael-Boitsfort and was a great experience for all of the children. They should be very proud of their achievements and many of them are keen to be involved in other similar activities. Thank you to Simon Deglain for organising this opportunity for the children. There are photographs of the event on the website, so please take some time to look at them.

We would like to inform you that after the half term holiday the hot lunches will look a little different as the packaging will change. Also, if your child(ren) has a hot lunch you should also look at the menu on the website (on the Secretary’s Desk for Parents section) as this will indicate any ingredients that are likely to cause allergies. If you are concerned that your child(ren) will be affected by these please send them with an alternative lunch on that day. Thank you.
