Classes 3 -7/8 had a very musical end to the week when both the Lower School and Upper School choirs sang in assembly. Annabelle accompanied them on the piano: It was all very melodious, and was a great way to end the week.
We would like to thank the parents that attended the Class 8 Information Evening on Tuesday for attending. We know there were some other people that wanted to join but that were unable to, and so we will send the information covered to you next week. If anybody has any questions at all about this initiative, please do not hesitate to ask.
Class 5 went to visit the Contantin Meunier Museum yesterday. They enjoyed seeing the work of this Belgian artist, and spent some time sketching some of the sculptures and talking about his work. They were luckier than the class 2s who went out the previous week and had dry weather for their walk there and back.
Classes 4 – 7 were excited to receive their initial letters about their Residential trips this week, and those in Classes 5-7/8 happily reminisced about their previous experiences. It will be new for Class 4 but they are sure to have a great time too. Please return your child’s permission and health forms so that we can send all the necessary information to our destinations. Parent information evenings about these trips will be held nearer the time, but we are sure that your child’s teacher will be happy to answer any questions you may already have.
Everybody has been engaged in their classroom learning this week and there haven’t been any other events to give feedback to you on. It appears that it will be the same next week, but it’s good to have some quieter weeks once in a while.
Dates for your diaries:
Friday 25th March – School ends at 12.30

Let’s hope that it will be a dry and sunny weekend.
