The lovely sunny weather has made the return from the Easter break very easy. The children are all ready to learn again and to enjoy all the excitement that the Summer Term brings with it.
Although the children weren’t, the teachers were in school on Monday for an INSET Day. This was led by David Playfoot (co-founder of Fieldwork Education and the International Primary Curriculum). We spent the time developing our Mission Statement, which we will be sharing with you in the future and asking for your feedback on.
Earlier this week you should have received the appointment times for your child(ren)’s Parent/Teacher Consultation(s). As you know these will take place on Tuesday (19th April). If you have not returned your confirmation slip or your request to meet with a Specialist teacher, please do so on Monday. We would like to remind you that there will not be after school clubs on that day.
We would like to thank everybody that has returned their re-enrolment forms this week. If you have not already done so, please can you do so as soon as possible. Thank you.
We know that many of you are aware we have a BEPS Facebook page, as you have already visited it. If you haven’t already done so, please take a look at it. You may also remember that we also have a twitter account and so you can follow us on that too.
Our neighbouring school, the Ecole Moliere has an Open Day next Wednesday. Its doors will be open between 14:00 and 18:00 so that people can visit and learn more about what it offers to its students. However, they would like to give BEPS parents an exclusive opportunity to visit. To this end they are inviting you to go and see them after you have dropped your children off on Wednesday morning. They look forward to welcoming you.
Dates for your diaries:
Thursday 5th & Friday 6th May – No School (Ascension holiday)
Thursday 19th May – Book Fair
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday when you come for your Parent/Teacher Consultation(s), but before that have an enjoyable weekend.
