It has been very quiet without the Upper School this week, but the children and their teachers have now happily returned from their Residential Trips. They all had a fabulous week either at the coast (Class 4 and 5) or Butgenbach (Class 6,7/8) and enjoyed participating in many stimulating activities. They will no doubt have lots of stories to share with you. Thank you to the teachers that accompanied them, for the care and dedication they have put into the last week, and for making it a great experience for everyone. They deserve a restful weekend for sure.
Class 2 were also out and about this week. They visited Mini-Europe on Thursday and enjoyed sightseeing all the famous sites and monuments. This morning Early Years held their Sports Day Event. Both the children and parents had fun demonstrating their sports skills, despite the rainy weather.
Next week, on Wednesday 24th June we will be holding a special cake sale. The children are invited to bring in some money on that day so they can purchase a cake, which can be eaten as a snack. All the money we raise will be donated to the build a school project in Benin. You can also give support by making donations or by providing small school resources such as pencils, markers, rulers...There is a box in the entrance hall where you can leave them.
On Friday 26th June it will be Sports Day for Classes 2-8. There will be activities throughout the day and you are welcome to join us. More information will be sent to you next week. Please note that there will be no hot lunches on that day so all the children (Pre-school to Class 8) will need to bring a packed lunch.
You should have received information about our Summer Holiday Stages (Classes 2-7) and our Early Years Holiday Club (Pre-school and Class 1). There are still spaces left, so if you haven’t signed up but would like your child to join, then please fill in the form and return it to school by Monday 20th June.
Finally, the last dates of the year for your diary:
Tuesday 28th June - BEPS Talent Show at 2pm Thursday 30th June - End of term assembly at 11am and school finishes at 12.30. Monday 5th September: Start of the new school year. Enjoy a restful weekend.
