It has been an exciting week at BEPS. On Tuesday we were lucky enough to have a visit from a very special person. St. Nicholas came to meet all the children. He was very pleased to see them, to be able to listen to their songs and was happy to answer their questions. He gave them some very positive feedback about their behaviour and learning, but also some goals to work on in the future. Before he left he kindly gave them each a bag of goodies The children really enjoyed their contents and so had a great time. We would like to thank the PTA for supporting St. Nicholas and helping to make the children very happy.

This afternoon the excitement continued. The class 3 Circus was in town. They gave a special performance in Lower School Assembly. This was fabulous, but is sure to be even better when their parents come and see it next Wednesday. Well done Class 3.

As you will have seen, our new fence and gate have been installed. The opening and closing mechanism of the gate is still being worked on, and as soon as we have more information regarding this procedure we will inform you. In the meantime, please do not push the red button on the gate as this blocks everything. Instead please come and ask for help by ringing on the front door. Thank you.

Our Winter Concert is getting closer and so rehearsals for this are in full swing. You should have found the tickets for this in your child’s blue bag. Please return the slip and any unwanted tickets as soon as possible so that they can be redistributed.

Our Christmas Tree is looking very festive with all the children’s stars and snowflakes decorating it. There are many fantastic home made decorations which children have put lots of thought and care into making, which help to make it extra special. The pile of food for Nativitas, which is surrounding it grows each day, and we would like to thank those of you that have already brought items in. If you haven’t done so yet there is still time, so please continue to bring food items in. This will also give you the opportunity to see how beautiful the tree looks.

Dates for your diaries:

Wednesday 21st December – Winter Concert (10.00 a.m.)

Friday 23rd December – School finishes at 12.30 for the Winter Holiday

Monday 9th January 2017 – School restarts

Now it’s time for the weekend and we are sure that there will be lots of learning of scripts and songs during it.

Best Wishes,

The Leadership Team
