Of course, the highlight of the week was our Student Led Conferences. The children thoroughly enjoyed sharing their learning and setting new learning goals with you. They loved being your teacher and having the chance to tell you what you should be doing. We are glad that you could share this experience and hope that you learnt from it.
This afternoon the Class 6 parents were in school again. This time it was to listen to the rap poetry that their children had written. The children performed this and by the sound of the rapturous applause they must have been impressive. They also filmed the event so they will be able to share with some of the other classes in school.
We are very happy to be able to announce the winners of the PTA Snowman competition. There were lots of great entries, but unfortunately not everyone can be a winner. After lots of consideration and voting the winners are below:
First Prizes: Theodora (4C) and Federico (4P)
Second Prizes: Pierre Magnus (4P) and Athina & Theodora (4P & Class 1)
Third Prizes: Finn & Luka (6F-J & 3M) and Ninel (6F-J)
We would like to congratulate the winners, but also everyone that entered for making it a good competition.
Next week Class 8 will be out of school on Tuesday morning when they go to watch the screening of a film about safer internet use. They are out again on Friday when they will represent BEPS at the annual International School Quiz. I am sure you join with us in wishing them well, but we know they will do their best and enjoy themselves too.
Dates for your diaries:
Tuesday 21st February - International/Mother Tongue Day (please save the date as we will be asking for volunteers to come in to school to share their cultures with us).
Monday 27th February – Friday 3rd March – Half Term holiday
Enjoy the weekend
