The sunny weather was perfect for the Pre-School trip to the
farm on Monday. The children enjoyed seeing all the animals, making bread and
having a trip in a cart pulled by a tractor. As a result of their great day, we
are sure there will be some aspiring mini farmers in Pre-School now.
Next week learning is continuing to happen outside the usual classroom environment. The French team have organised for Class 5 to go to the Constantin Meunier Museum on Tuesday. This is in conjunction with their new Unit of Work ‘Paintings, Pictures and Photographs.
On Wednesday Cap Science, will be in school again. This time they will work with Classes 6 and 7. Class 6 have just started a new Unit all about Forces and so this will be the focus of their workshop. As Class 7s next Unit of Work will be about the human body they will be participating in an interactive workshop about the circulatory system.
We would like to remind you that children should not be left unattended in the playground before 08.30 when the teachers on duty arrive. If you want to be able to leave your child(ren) before this, you should contact Oonagh who organises Breakfast Club as they need to join this service. We are sure that you will understand that this is to ensure the safety and security of the children. Thank you for your support.
