This afternoon the Lower School and Class 1 children enjoyed an assembly led by some students from the University of Leuven. They talked with them about emotions and how they can cope with these both whilst learning and playing. The children were actively involved and enjoyed sharing their ideas with them.
Next week, the Toddlers and the Pre-School children will be attending a puppet show at “Le Theatre du Ratinet” in Uccle. We are sure that they will enjoy telling you all about it on Tuesday afternoon.
On Friday, some of our Upper School children will be attending an annual International School’s Football and Netball tournament at Bogaerts International School. We know that they always enjoy these events and represent our school in a very positive manner. If your child is involved, you will receive further information from Simon Deglain our P.E teacher. We wish them all the best of luck and hope they enjoy themselves.
As all of the Upper School children, will be setting off on their Residential trips before long, we will be holding information evenings about these on Tuesday 23rd May. These will take place from 18:00 – 18:45 in 5P and 7H. These will be for parents only, as the children will be talking about these with their teachers often during the next couple of weeks. we hope that you will be able to join to find out all about these exciting trips.
Two members of our PTA, are organising a projection of the French documentary "Une Idée Folle" on Thursday 1st June at 19:30. This documentary takes you through nine French "Changemaker Schools" where students are learning the essential skills of empathy, creativity, leadership and teamwork so that they can develop the confidence to change the world for the good of all.
It will take place at: Espace Delvaux Watermael-Boisfort Rue Gratès, 31170 Watermaël-Boistfort.
The viewing will be followed by a debate.
