This week the Book Fair was in school again. The children were as excited as ever about this and were very happy to have the chance to buy some beautiful books. As always, the school benefitted from the amount of money the children spent and we have another large pile of books to add to our libraries. Thank you all for supporting this event, and don’t worry the Book Fair will be back next year.
Buddies at the end of the day was welcomed by all. The children are all very familiar with their buddies now and they love having the opportunity to share time and learn together.
Thursday will be a quiet day in BEPS next week, as many children will be leaving BEPS for some out of school learning opportunities.
Class 1 will be visiting the Van Parys chocolate and sweet factory to see what happens there and how dragees are made. This will also give them the opportunity to test their five senses.
Class 4 are heading off to a museum to find out about the human body as this is their current Unit of Work, and our choir and Ms. Ford will be going to St. George’s International School in Luxembourg for the annual International School Choir Day. We are sure they will all have a great time and bring back lots of new knowledge and experiences to share with the rest of us.
We are sure that you are all looking forward to the Summer Fair next Saturday. If you haven’t yet volunteered to help, or to contribute food to the International Buffet you can still do so. Please return your forms on Tuesday.
When you use the gate at the front of school to collect your child(ren) from Garderie, please do not block the gate and leave it open. These gates have been installed to ensure the security of everyone in BEPS, and if they are left open they are not going to do this. Thank you for your support.
As you are no doubt aware, Monday is a Bank Holiday and so there isn’t any school.
Enjoy the long weekend and see you all again on Tuesday.
