The children have been able to see the preparations for the Summer Fair today, and so are now even more excited at the prospect of coming back to BEPS tomorrow. There has been plenty of talk about costumes and which of the raffle prizes they want to win! We are sure it’s going to be a great event and so make sure you don’t miss it. Please remember that you will only be able to enter through the back gate on Avenue Victoria.
This week was a week when lots of the children went out of BEPS to extend their learning.
Class 1 used their senses in a chocolate/sweet factory whilst Class 4 visited the Children’s Museum for a day full of interactive workshops and further learning about the human body. Our choir also enjoyed a day of music and singing when they joined other international schools in Luxembourg. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves and learnt lots too.
Next week it will be very much quieter around school as Classes 4 – 7 will on their Residential trips. On Monday Classes 6 and 7 go off to Spa and on Tuesday classes 4 and 5 will head to Botassart. They are very excited about their trips, although there may be a little bit of apprehension too. However, we are sure that they will come back full of stories and new experiences that they will be happy to share with you. Enjoy yourselves!
The Early Years will be active on Wednesday when they have their Sports Day. This will take place in the playground and garden on Wednesday (14th) at 10.30. This is another event that you should not miss. Future Olympians will be showing their skills.
It’s Father’s Day here in Belgium on Sunday, and so we are sure that there will be many Dads given extra hugs and maybe even the opportunity to relax and take things easy. Have a great day.
We look forward to seeing you tomorrow, come ready for fun.
