The biggest excitement of the week was the fact that the Upper School children were away on their Residential Trips in Spa and Botassart. The weather was amazing and the activities were great and so everybody had a fabulous time. We know there will be some tired, but happy children and teachers this evening, but are sure that they will all be sharing plenty of stories. Thank you to them all for making it such a brilliant experience.

While they were away it was quieter on school, but that doesn’t mean to say that there wasn’t any excitement. The children in Class 1 loved meeting two special guests: a military Sergeant and the Director of Crisis Action, Anuk's father. The children learnt that there are many people who help us and were happy to meet some real-life superheroes. Thank you to these superheroes for giving up their time to come into school.

On Wednesday, our Early Years sports stars were in action. They showed their skills and entertained everyone too. They were rewarded with medals at the end of the event. Watch out they will be the Olympians of the future.

On Monday Class 3 are heading off to Planckendael for the day, where they will be classifying animals into different groups. As the day is looking as though it will be very hot and sunny, if your child is in Class 3 please make sure you read their weekly newsletter to find out what they need to take.

As you have already been informed on Wednesday (21st  June) at 11:30 a meeting with Doctor Benoît Evrard, a GP and nutritionist will take place. This will be to talk about the importance of nutrition on the health of the whole family. If the weather is good it will be in the garden, but in the case of rain, it will be in the attic. This talk will be given in French, but please don’t be put off by this as there will be people to translate the information into English, so that everybody can benefit from it. We look forward to seeing you there.

Next week also sees the Class 8 Exhibition. The Class 8 children have been working hard to research a subject that interests them and will be sharing their learning with invited past and present members of the BEPS community on Monday evening and then the rest of the school on Tuesday. Please come and see their learning, they will be very happy to talk to you about this.

Dates for your diaries:
