It was great to be back together today and to welcome all our newcomers too. Now we can look ahead to a year of learning and fun.

The fun actually began today when the children released balloons at the end of assembly to celebrate BEPS’ 45th Anniversary. Everyone enjoyed watching the balloons float away and will be eagerly awaiting the first postcards that our returned to us.

You will have received a selection of forms and information in your child’s Blue Bag today, and so we would like to ask you to complete the forms and return them on Monday. Please read our updated School Guide, which should give you any the information you need to know about our school. If you have any questions about it, please ask.

As part of settling back into school today, classes have walked through their emergency escape routes in preparation for future emergency exit practices.

Unfortunately, not all classes were able to send their usual weekly newsletter today. These will be sent to you on Monday instead.

On Monday, the start of the day will return to normal. The Lower School children will line up at 08.50 and Upper School children will walk into school to join their teachers. At the end of the day you can collect your child(ren) from their line in the playground. They should be able to tell you which coloured shape indicates their place.

We would like to remind you that as BEPS is a ‘nut free’ school children must not bring in any nuts or items containing nuts, such as peanut butter or Nutella in to school. Thank you for your cooperation.

Finally, we hope you all have a great weekend, but particularly send our good wishes to all our Muslim families that will be celebrating Eid el Adha.

Best Wishes,

The Leadership Team
