· Thank you, to everybody that has returned their Re-Enrolment Forms this week. If you have not yet done this, please can you do so as soon as possible. Thank you.
This week we were excited to receive the key for our Secondary Scholl building. Next week the children from Classes 7 and 8 will be taken to visit it. Following this you will be sent an e-mail inviting you to visit it too.
In this link you will find an article about children’s pencil grip and technology, please take the time to read it and encourage your child to hold their pencil or pen correctly when they use them. https://www.theguardian.com/society/2018/feb/25/children-struggle-to-hold-pencils-due-to-too-much-tech-doctors-say
· On Tuesday our Pre-School children visited 'Le Théâtre du Ratinet' in Uccle and saw a puppet show, 'Macha et l'Ours'. They were excellent listeners and carefully followed the instructions they were given when travelling on the bus and during the show. The organisers were very impressed with how well they listened and joined in. Well done to them all.
Yesterday we celebrated World Book Day. The children looked amazing in their costumes and their ‘Extreme Reading’ photographs are very inventive. They are on display on the landing if you’d like to see them. As usual the children loved visiting the Book Fair and we have a lovely big pile of new books to add to the library, so thank you for encouraging them to buy a book. There was plenty of reading taking place throughout the day, and the children loved stopping what they were doing and reading when the bell rang. Thank you to the teachers that organised the day, it was another fun one.
