School Events:

  • The main event of the week was our Winter Concert. The dress rehearsal on Tuesday and the  performance yesterday caused great excitement and a few nerves. We hope that you enjoyed it as much as the children enjoyed participating in it, they are going to be talking about it for quite a while for sure. We would like to thank you on behalf of Nativitas, as the Year 6 children collected 535€ in their Santa hats at the end of the show. This means that your generosity during our Winter events has raised a total of 2087€ for this cause. Of course this is in addition to all the food that you brought in too. Thank you all.
  • This morning, the whole school gathered to sing around the Christmas tree in the Entrance Hall. There was plenty of fun and laughter and even when we didn’t know all of the words to a song it didn’t matter at all. During this time Golden Certificates were awarded to children that have proved to be excellent listeners this month. This isn’t always easy to do, and listening to others and taking their ideas on board is even harder. Congratulations to everybody that received a certificate, you should be proud of yourselves, we are.
  • Before we returned to class the House Cup was awarded. As you know, house points are difficult to earn, as they are only given for things that are beyond our normal expectations. The result was very close, with only one point splitting second and third places. However, Magritte were victorious on this occasion and were very happy indeed. Next term we start again and so there is everything to strive for.
