Important News:

* Earlier this week you received a letter all about International/Mother Tongue Day, which is taking place on Thursday 21st February. If you have not yet informed your child’s teacher that you will be able to help them on that day, please do so as soon as possible. If you have any questions at all about the day, please ask your child’s teacher.

* Next week three students from NHL Stenden Meppel will join three of our Upper School classes. The students are following a course for International Teachers for Primary Education (ITEPS) and will be with us until May. If one of the students is joining your child’s class, the class teacher will inform you in their weekly newsletter.

School Events:

* Year 1 shared their learning in Lower School Assembly this afternoon. This was based on their last two Science Units of Work: Light and Sound and Push and Pull. The Year 2 loved the interactive fun, and will no doubt be happy to tell you all about it. Well Done Year 1.

* Golden Certificates for Working Hard were distributed this afternoon. Congratulations to everybody that has worked especially hard and earned one. Next month we will be thinking about Looking after Property, and so will be watching for good examples of this.
