Important Information:

  • At the end of the school day it is important for us to ensure that the children are going home with the correct person. This may be with a parent or carer, to their after school club, or to Garderie.  In all cases, teachers make sure that they hand the children from their class to the person who will then be responsible for them. The Garderie staff are only responsible for the children who are enrolled in Garderie, and club teachers are only responsible for the children in their club. Therefore, if you would like your child(ren) to play in the playground with their friends for a little longer after 15.30 you must remain with them. Under no circumstances must you leave them alone. Please ensure that you clarify this with whoever is responsible for your child(ren) after school too. We are sure that you understand this is for the safety of your child(ren) and we appreciate your support in this matter.

School Events:

  • The highlight of our week was International/Mother Tongue Day, and we would like to thank you all for your support with this great day. The children all looked amazing and were proudly wearing their national costume or clothes that represented their home countries. Your support in talking to the children about Artists from your country was incredible, and the children (and teachers) learnt about many new Artists from across the world. Thank you for giving up your time to come and share your knowledge with us. Of course, International Day also gives everybody the opportunity to taste foods from around the world too. As always, there was a great choice and large quantities of it. Thank you for your contributions and for coming and joining the experience. After lunch the children shared fairytales in their home languages, which proved to be very interesting too. There was lots of talking and comparing of versions of the same story. The day was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone and we would like to thank you for helping us make sure that it was so successful. Roll on next year!
