The weekend is with us once again.

Dear Parents,

The sun has been shining and that always makes us feel better. The children are becoming even more efficient at submitting their learning and have continued to work hard this week. As this is a learning process for us all, we are now thinking about how we can progress further.

In order to do this, we will be:

  • Extending individual or small group meetings to cover all year groups. This week, Upper School children started having daily class meetings alongside the weekly individual meetings with their teacher, and Year 2 introduced some small group meetings. Next week Year 1 and the Early Year children will all be trialling individual meetings too. These opportunities to meet with teachers and peers are very important and so please check to see when your child(ren) should have a meeting and help them join. Thank you.

  • Exploring ways that we can reduce the amount of time the children are spending on a screen.

  • Thinking about ways in which we can keep the BEPS community spirit alive even though we are not physically together.

  • Encouraging the children to think about recycling items to help when they need to design and make something.

We are going to make Wednesday a little bit different next week (1st April), and so please watch out for news on Tuesday.

Finally, please remember that the clocks will ‘spring’ forward one hour on Saturday night, which means one hour less of confinement, and that Spring is really here.

Enjoy the sunshine, while it lasts.

Best Wishes,

The Leadership Team
