It was great to ‘see’ all the children back and ready for Online Learning again after the Easter break. They all settled back into their new routines quickly, were enthusiastic to join their class meetings and speedily started to submit learning.
We were very happy to see that Screen Free Wednesday was almost totally screen free, and to hear so many positive comments about it. Although they don’t always need to, many children submitted some amazingly creative responses to the activities they were set, and we were very happy to see them. We can’t wait to see what happens next Wednesday.
Our first ever virtual Parent/Teacher meetings yesterday, were also a great success. Thank you to everyone that joined them. We hope that you found them useful and that some of your questions were answered. We are collecting all the recurring questions so that we can respond to them when we know more about what will be happening in the future. We are sure you join with us in thanking the teachers for being open to trialling this experience, which was very different from the usual Parent/Teacher Consultations that take place at school.
We hope that you have been able to enjoy some of the sunshine we’ve been having and that you can have some family fun this weekend. Please remember that on Friday (1st May) it is a Public Holiday and which will mean no learning will be posted that day.
Take care of each other and keep safe.
