Dear Parents,

We thought that Year 6 returning to school was going to be the biggest excitement of the week. However, we were wrong. The news of the reopening for Early Years and Year 1 on Tuesday (2nd June) followed by the return of everybody else on Friday (5th June) overtook this!

  • You should have received an email with information about our reopening guidelines and procedures yesterday, if you did not please let us know so we can send it to you.

  • We would like to confirm that Pre-School, Reception and Year 1 will be in school on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of next week following the times below:

Pre-School: Arrival 08.45 Dismissal 15.00 (12.00 on Wednesday)

Reception: Arrival 09.00 Dismissal 15.15 (12.15 on Wednesday)

Year 1: Arrival 09.15 Dismissal 15.30 (12.30 on Wednesday)

  • Years 2 - 6 will then join them on Friday, meaning that everybody will then be back in school.

Year 2: Arrival 08.45 Dismissal 15.00 (12.00 on Wednesday)

Year 3 and 5: Arrival 09.00 Dismissal 15.15 (12.15 on Wednesday)

Year 4 and 6: Arrival 09.15 Dismissal 15.30 (12.30 on Wednesday)

  • The following week, the week beginning Monday 8th June everybody will be back every day.

  • Please note that Years 2 and 3 will not be in on Tuesday (2nd June) and that there will no longer be any Child Care.

  • We are sure that you would like to join us in thanking the teachers for all of the hard work they put in to making Online Learning so successful. Their commitment and dedication ensured that the children continued to be offered high quality and engaging learning opportunities whilst they were at home. We would also like to thank you again for your support during this time, it has been a challenging experience, which we have all learnt from, and will build upon in the future.

  • We are really looking forward to school reopening and seeing the children once again. If you have any questions regarding any of this, please do not hesitate to ask a member of the Leadership Team. Please remember that Monday (1st June) is a Bank Holiday and so school will be closed.

  • Finally, we would like to offer good wishes to everybody in the BEPS Community that celebrated Eid al-Fitr this week.

We look forward to seeing you again on either Tuesday or Friday, it’s going to be very exciting.

Best Wishes,

The Leadership Team
