Fabulous Friday!

What a difference a week makes. This time last week we had twelve children in school, and today we had 85% of the Primary School population! It was great to see so many children back enjoying the day and carefully following the procedures put in place to make sure that we are all able to keep safe.

  • Thank you for your support with helping make the return to school a smooth transition. Please help us by following the timings for the end of the day closely, and waiting in the playground near the covered area, away from where the children line up. After your child has been sent to you please help us further by leaving the school grounds quickly. We will make sure that classes are dismissed at the correct times to avoid you having to wait in the playground for very long, but are sure you understand that teachers are also getting used to the new timings too.

  • If you wish your child(ren) to attend Garderie, you must inform Kurt Goosens and their teacher(s). This information is very important for our dismissal routine.

  • Many of you have been asking about the reopening of After School Clubs. We are happy to inform you that all clubs except the Monday Dance Class will be running again. You will receive an email from the club teacher with information regarding this, so please watch out for it.

  • We are also pleased to say that the Holiday Club will also run this summer. You should have received a message from Dominique, with a link to a survey about the dates for this. If you haven’t received this email you can find it on beps-online in the Secretary’s Desk for Parents section of the website. Please complete and return this survey by Wednesday 10th June so further plans can be made.

  • As we are trying hard to reduce the number of times children are entering and leaving the premises each day, please can you avoid making appointments for them which mean that you need to collect them at times during the school day other than their regular dismissal time. Thank you.

Next week will be the most normal week of learning we will have had in a long time, and we know that we are all looking forward to it.

We hope that you all have a restful weekend and look forward to seeing you all again on Monday.

Best Wishes,

The Leadership Team
