The sun shone and the children learnt and played, and although everybody is now feeling tired, we all thoroughly enjoyed the week and are looking forward to the next one.
Please remember to wear your mask when you drop off and pick up your child(ren). You will not be allowed on the premises without one. In the mornings move away from the gate as soon as your child has had their temperature taken to let other children move into school. Some parents have voiced concerns as they have noticed that other parents are stopping to chat whilst not wearing masks and not social distancing, so please let us help them feel at ease.
When you come to collect your child(ren) at the end of the day, please support us by standing away from the area where the children line up, and by social distancing from other adults. Your child(ren) will be sent to you as soon as the teacher sees you. We then ask you to leave the playground rather than standing and talking and letting your children play. We know that this is not the way things usually are at BEPS, but are sure that you understand that we need to follow guidelines and procedures to ensure that everybody remains safe and healthy.
You will be receiving information about the Holiday Club on Monday. There will be one club for Early Years and another for Years 1 - 6. Please look out for the email as there will be a limited number of spaces available.
Homework for everyone in Years 2 - 6 will now be posted on their online learning platforms. This should be completed and returned within the usual timeframe.
