As you know tomorrow is Sports Day. The weather forecast is for an extremely hot and possibly stormy day. As this is the case I would like to ask you to ensure that your child brings plenty of water with them. They will also need a sun hat and suntan cream. Sports clothes and running shoes are also essential. You should now know the colour T-shirt your child needs to wear.

There will not be any hot lunches, so everybody needs a packed lunch and their snack.

As we want to make sure that the children have the opportunity to spend some time inside to keep cool, and to have access to a water supply, we have decided to have our picnic lunch at school rather than in the Bois. The afternoon activities will also take place at BEPS rather than in the woods.

The plan for the day is as follows:

9:00 - 9:30 Introduction to the day and team sorting

9:30 - 10:30 Upper School in the Bois (on the flat ground near the lake.
Lower School at BEPS

10:45 -11:00 Snack for everybody at BEPS

11:00/11:15 Lower School to leave for the Bois

11:30 -12:30 Lower School in the Bois (on the flat ground near the lake. Upper School at BEPS

12:45 - 13.30 Lunch at BEPS

3:30 -1 3:45 Organising teams

13:45 - 14:45 Relay races in mixed Lower School and Upper School teams

14:45 – 15:15 Sports Day dance – you really don’t want to miss this!

Please join us. You are welcome to share as much of the fun with us as you possibly can. We want to make sure that the children will be as cool and able to stay as healthy as possible and so will alter our plans if at all necessary.

I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Thank you for your support.
